Landscapes of practices are one of the formats of public opening of the residencies workspace. These landscapes are conceived as open work sessions: a possibility of observation, proximity and sharing of research processes, in a dialogue with the outer context.
The invitation for the public is to enter a composite landscape, generated by the coexistence of different elements, and to explore the research trajectories articulated by the artists in residence, by sharing the gaze and the attitude of the researcher.
Starting from the encounter between artists and visitors, practices and practitioners, discourses, universes and obsessions, a space emerges where to think in dialogue with the materials, embodied in a variety of media, while activating a collective exercise of critical thinking.
The Landscapes are part of a wider reflection on how to articulate and share one’s research, starting from the question: which formats can be invented to share the knowledge generated by artistic research?
